Bye 2006. Hi 2007!

2006 is over. Now I am one year older..haiz. Time files!

Just to do a recap.

2006 is a year of ups and downs bah. For a period, I was really v depressed and down..and felt that life is meaningless. But thanks to my friends' ( you know who you are :p) encourgement and support, I survived and yes, became a v positive person although at times, to the extent of bluffing myself. :p

2006 was the also the year where I travelled in a plane I went to 2 countries, China in May and Japan in Nov. One of my greatest achievements of the year. I think I will never forget the trips, especially Japan. Till now, I am still harbouring dreams of going back to Japan..its just too beautiful. :)

I am glad to know many nice colleagues and considerate superiors at the checkpoint. They do make a difference to my work life. Most fruitful, I felt was to be a part of the evaluation and planning team . That few months were the most busy period of the year..but I have gained and learn a lot. Its worth the effort and time. :)

And after many years, I finally get started on playing squash. I used my welfare funds to purchase a racquet...hehe. A sense of achievement..*ahem*..hehe..though there is ample room for improvement. Regretfully was the lack of time go for NWP training. Come to think of it, in the entire year, I attended training only 5 times.

2007 resolutions..umm....as usual..I want to improve my proficiency in my areas of interests as well as areas which I am lacking in. Hopefully, I can find someone who cares and dotes on me unconditionally..haha. And yes..to fulfil my lifelong dreams of travelling to Europe, as well as HK (to watch Andy's concert!). Most importantly, to work diligently..and get my ideal posting. :)

SImply Nothing

Just like last year, I spent my xmas and xmas eve at work. But then, really unexpected were the gifts n wishes I received. :)

Shag..dunno why. I just feel like zzz all day manz. Took out a book to read. After 2 pages, I just dozed off. Not because it was uninteresting..but rather, my concentration sphere is shrinking again and memory failing. *gasps*

End of the year soon. Time to write my resolutions ..:p

No stopping

Today, I felt a sense of achievement because I actually completed 2.4 km without stopping! Yeah..I mean it has been like ages since I have accomplished that. MH and I have decided to give ourselves 1 year to train for the Standard Chartered Marathon next year. To run 10km without stopping. If by then, we are still such a let-down, then our back-up plan is to sign up as volunteers for the event..ehh...at least can get the free t-shirt since cant get any medal..lolz.

I was pleasantly surprised to receive a call from my ex student. It has been ard 1 1/2 yr since I last gave tution. And they still remembered me. At that moment, I just felt so touched. At the same time, I am ashamed of myself cuz i have not made any effort to keep in contact since I quit tutoring. Anyway, it was a nice feeling to be remembered.

Merry Go Round

I called A. A referred me to B when he was clueless. B also had no idea. Then he referred me to C. C was unable to answer my question too. Then, I was referred to D. Just a simple enquiry..and I was taken on a merry go round. Inefficiency. In the end, I just could not be bothered.

I ransacked my whole room to search for an important letter but in vain. When I do not need it, it keeps appearing in front of me. But when I need it, its nowhere to be found. Geez

Just a rant.

Lost In Time

At times, I really wish that a time machine which can transport me to the past where life was so much simpler, exists.

At times, I yearn for a colourful life but at times, I just want a peaceful one free of worries.
