确定了. 十月一日后, 我将被派到"曾经是天堂, 如今是地狱'(自封) 的zone.
尽管在之前已有强烈的预感. 尽管已传闻满天飞. 但仍渴望奇迹出现.
昨天在那里 understudy 了几个小时. 还好吧, 目前还没我想象中那么恐怖. 呵呵! 也发生了一件让我捧腹大笑的事件!

星期天, 和义弟到了茶渊(tea chapter) 品茗桂花茶. 天生毫无方向感的我起初带着义弟寻觅了一个小时左右方才找到地点. 嗨! (亏我几年前还是混那里的呢!)
其后更有趣的是正当我和义弟在闲聊之余, 一个年轻小伙子突然来到我们桌前,递了张名片. 原来他是听到了义弟谈论'修襌' (zen buddhism)之事, 顿觉志同道和, 并希望我们有空时, 到他新开的店参观! 我们心理在想: 岂有此理, 竟然有人窃听! 哈哈! 但也不错啦. 毕竟四海之内,皆兄弟?:D

"The more the merrier"
Had a hard time sleeping. My whole body was aching and in the middle of the night, my left shoulder hurt terribly. Bruises on my arms and legs. I was thrown twice yesterday onto the ground all of a sudden. My opponent was simply powerful and quick. His moves were as fast as lightning. He was already very 手下留情 but I think I was too lousy liao. My reflexes were slow and I did not do a breakfall which explained why my head and left shoulder hit the ground in both cases first. Haiz.
I wonder when I can get over my phobia of doing a breakfall. If not, in future sparring, I will definitely be thrashed no matter what my belt level is. I rather stay at my current level until I can do a proper one else damn xia sui manz. Breakfall aside, my sparring skills also suck. Perhaps, if I go sparring every week and gena thrown everytime by experts, then surely one day, I may overcome my fear and truly master it? *in deep thoughts* Hehe..practice posed to make perfect mah. 熟能生巧?

MNIKSS - After Thoughts
This show finally ended its run. I cannot help resisting the urge to engage in a bit of gushing in the blog*ahem*. For those who have watched it, you will know what I am talking abt lah..and will share my sentiments :D
MNIKSS is the only kdrama that I actually watched every episode of it. Many scenes remain vivid in my mind. The antics of Sanshun(Kim Sum Ah), the cool demeanour and flashy smiles of Zhenxian(Hyun Bin) and their constant bickerings and sarcastic dialogues kept me glued. Though I know they will definitely be together in the end, yet I still keep rooting for, and anticipated their process. The chemistry between them is unparalled, in comparison to dramas that I have watched during these 2 years.
One particular scene that I especially like is when Zhenxian is driving on the road and memories of Sanshun and him are flashing in his mind. At this moment, the instrumental version of the themesong starts playing (the one that you are listening to now).
The combination of the appropriate music and longing/confused expression on Zhenxian's face does wonders! He is in a dilemna. He already has a pretty girlfriend so he keeps denying his love for Sanshun. Yet, he gets jealous whenever he sees her with her ex-boyfriend. And his actions are damn funny. Oh yes, his side view is extremely mesmerizing, indeed as mentioned by Sanshun in the show :) You can feel your emotions swaying with that along of the character.
Then the classic scene is when he finally u-turn back to the hotel to confess his love for her. At this very instant of the u-turn, the soothing background music takes a faster beat. All fit in perfectly to bring the emotions to a new level.
Another memorable 'character' is the cute piggy who always v suay, gena tortured and tossed around. But in the end, its owner cant bear to part with it. :D

Thoughts and Memories - TV dramas
My latest obsession is the kdrama My Name is Kim Sam Soon. Simply hooked onto it to the extent that I actually accelerated by watching the last few episodes and their MVs on youtube. Hyun Bin and Kum Sum Ah are excellent! They never fail to perk me up and provide me with a good release from stressful everyday life. And ooo..Hyun Bin is such a cutie in here..hehe. His devotion and sweetness to Sum Ah melts gals 'hearts. :D Perhaps, I will pick up my pen and write a review on this drama: The Funny Moments and Sweet Scenes. See first bah..hehe
Talking about reviews, I revisited my two sites on TVdramas which I created during the first 2 years of my uni days. This revisit brought back fond memories. I am still amazed that in the past, I could actually spend so much and effort on all these..capturing pictures, writing lengthy reviews, providing full synopsis and enter long discussions at forum. I remember the so called.'Heroine of the Yangs Gang' ..hehe..whereby everyday without failure, we would gather in the forum to give thoughts and analysis on practically every scene. Now I will not have the time and perseverance in doing so liao. I feel that I am getting old and lethargic, with a seemingly failing memory. 真是岁月不留人! 叹!
One recent entry in the guestbook (for the drama, Xiao Ao Jiang Hu) cracks me up. This guy implores me to read the novel and understand more abt Ren Yingying and the plot. He says that RYY is not some wicked witch which I had made her to be..but when did I say she is a witch? And when did I say, this adaptation is 100% true to the novel? I loved this serial for the way it is as a serial and not as an adaptation. And I am not some JY purist who insists on every adaptation to follow the novel closely. Oh well, despite many significant bombardments on this china adaptation, it still stands high on my list of fave dramas all these years. Ahem, I feel obliged to defend it. :)

NWP 42nd Anniversary Dinner
NWP42nd anniversary dinner was successfully held at Neptune yesterday. It was a fun and interesting night. :)
First time, I took on the role of stage manager (in charge of the right side). First time, I sprayed on people's hair and to dress them up like ang mohs. First time, I had to wave a flag on stage( And it seemed like an eternity. My arms were aching!) First time, I performed breaking a tile on stage. First time, I evened the edges of sashs using fire. First time, I stayed out so late (We all went for supper after the event ended. I reached home at around 1.30 am) with friends ever since my China trip.
Backstage work is indeed no easy feat. In particular, the words'Chinese Sword' and 'Chinese Sabre' kept haunting me after the rehearsal. lolz..I must remember to run and hand over these 2 weapons to Shelley on the left stage for the "Huo Yuan Jia' skit. Anna's one sentence said in sterness particularly emphasized timportance..something like," You can forget about the flag (i was supposed to one of the 4 together with Shelly, ZB and MQ, waving flags), you can even arrow anyone..what is most important is this sword. No matter what, this must be taken care of and reach the hands of the coach."The sword is like a gem. I was a bit stressed manz cuz in the segment when the sword is to be handed over..i was performing too. So it was akin to racing with time. Luckily, YX was there to assist me.
All in all, it was simply enjoyable. Salute to all those involved for doing a marvellous job, especially Coach and JL. Kudos.
